Located Between Cass and Union Streets
just off the Grandview Parkway (across from Clinch
Park). What you'll find is the hustle and bustle of Traverse
City in a frenzy of vendors and shoppers displaying and
hording a variety of local grown and produced goods.
This is not a leisure
stroll as you will find a tangle of pedestrians all
shopping for the splendor of fresh and unique local
produce, fruits, vegetables, plants, flowers, baked
goods, soaps, meets, coffee's and so many more every day
products that this community has come to desire and
crave
The Market is open Saturdays
beginning May 13 through October 28, 2006, from 8 am
to noon.
On June 14, the Market is open on
Wednesdays as well as Saturdays, also from 8am to
noon, through September 27, 2006.

The Village at Grand Traverse Commons
Farmers Market
Launched in 2006 during the National
Cherry Festival organizers stated there was a need for
this, the downtown one is just packed and this area
could support another one, What we like about 3-7 p.m.
is that first of all [farmers] can pick their produce in
the morning before the heat and second, with the gas
prices so high, it will be more convenient for customers
to come down here on their way home.”
What we want is to make it a community
place, the Village at Grand Traverse in general.
The market welcomes vendors
of all types and they hope one day that will include
arts and crafts.
Held on
Fridays from 3-7 p.m. through September
